Auditions set this month for senior pageant

Auditions for the 2012 Ms. Missouri Senior America Pageant will be conducted later this month.

State directors are looking for candidates to audition to become contestants in the pageant this year, according to a news re-lease.

Participants must be at least 60 years old and have a talent — singing, dancing or any kind of talent that can be presented in 21⁄2 minutes on stage. Three other areas of competition also are featured — a personal interview with the judges before the pageant begins, modeling an evening gown and reciting your 35-second philosophy of life, the release stated.

To obtain more information about the auditions, call Christine DeHart, co-state director, at (636) 391-5678.

This year’s Ms. Missouri Senior America Pageant will take place Sunday, July 8, at the Florissant Civic Center.
