Arthur Michel Jr., 77, died Aug. 26.

Born in Hermann, Mr. Michel resided in Concord. He was a softball umpire for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Rose Michel (nee Siman); sons and daughters-in-law, Donald Michel, Bruce and Linda Michel, and Gary and Roxanne Michel; and daughter, Patty Michel; brothers, Gene Michel and Bernell Michel; and three grandchildren.

Services and visitation were at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons, south county. Burial was in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
