St. John’s Lutheran Church in Arnold held an inaugural Wreaths Across America event Dec. 17, joining 3,700 participating locations across the county.
This year is Wreaths Across America’s 175th anniversary.
There are over 90 veterans in St. John’s cemetery and a remembrance wreath was placed upon the grave markers for each one.
Nationwide, 2.7 million wreaths were placed by more than 3 million volunteers at participating locations.
