To the editor:
In response to the March 8 letter from Michael K. Broughton, “Arming teachers, school staff President Trump’s ‘latest idiotic idea,’” I think it’s President Donald Trump’s latest excellent idea.
I ask this question of Broughton and all readers of the Call.
If you were a school shooter, which school would you enter?
The school with the sign out front saying, “This is a gun-free school zone”?
Or the school with the sign out front saying, “Many of our teachers and staff are trained with and carry concealed guns”?
