The National Park Service will present “Archeology for Kids at White Haven,” a free program, from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 18, at the Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site, 7400 Grant Road.
The program will consist of a simulated archeology dig and will focus on archeological excavations previously conducted at the site. Besides the simulated dig, program activities will include a tour of the grounds and a demonstration of laboratory techniques.
The program is limited to 15 participants ages 9 through 13. Due to limited space, reservations are required.
