Born in Independence, La., Mrs. Giamalva resided in south county.

Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Carl Giamalva; daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Ron Garascia; son and daughter-in-law, Dennis C. and Debra Giamalva; brother and sister-in-law, Anthony and Loretta Verde; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services were at Evangelical Full Gospel Assembly Church. Visitation was at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons, south county. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
