Annual Laumeier Art Fair ‘wows’ children, grown-ups alike

More than 15,000 people attend the annual three-day Mother’s Day weekend event that features food trucks, the city of Sunset Hills Music Festival and 150 juried artists from across the country.

Children and adults alike were ‘wowed’ at Laumeier Sculpture Park’s 29th annual Art Fair.

The event featured hands-on activities for children, special wine- and beer-tasting events, live music and 150 juried artists from across the country exhibiting work in 10 categories.

Media categories included ceramics, fiber/textiles, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography/digital, printmaking/drawing, sculpture and wood.
