The Missouri Public Service Commission will hold two local public hearings in Missouri Thursday, Jan. 16, including one in South County, in an electric rate case filed by Ameren Missouri.

The South County public hearing will take place at noon Thursday, Jan. 16, at Sunset Hills City Hall, 3939 Lindbergh Blvd. There will be a PSC staff public information/question-and-answer session, with the commission receiving testimony from the public following the question-and-answer session.

Another St. Louis public hearing will take place at the Wainwright State Office Building, 111 N. 7th Street, at 6 p.m. with the same format as the South County public hearing.

Ameren filed an electric rate case in July looking to decrease annual electric revenues by approximately $800,000. Ameren Missouri covers 1.28 million customers.
