Ambrose “Pete’’ Bommarito, 87, died July 5 at Bethesda Southgate in Oakville.

Mr. Bommarito was born in Detroit, Mich., and was a mechanic for Metro.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Grace Dee and Joe Arens; son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Kelly Bommarito; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. Bommarito was preceded in death by his wife, Angeline Anne R. Bommarito (nee Palazzolo).

Burial was in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

The family was served by Kutis South County Chapel.
