Affton residents ages 3 years to prekindergarten have the opportunity to receive a free developmental screening with the Affton Parents As Teachers program.
Screenings are a brief assessment of skills in the areas of motor, concepts and language, according to a news release. The purpose of a screening is to ensure children receive the maximum benefits from their educational experiences.
Community screenings will be conducted by appointment only Friday, Nov. 9, and Friday, Dec. 14. To make an appointment or for additional information, contact Affton Parents As Teachers at (314) 633-5988.
