The Affton Chamber of Commerce’s annual Holiday Luncheon will take place Thursday, Dec. 8, at the Orlando Gardens Banquet Center, 4300 Hoff-meister Ave.

Registration and networking will begin at 11:15 a.m. with a buffet lunch at noon. This is the final day of the chamber’s Helping Hands food drive to provide some assistance to residents in 63123 who may have had a little bad luck during the year.

During lunch, the Affton High School Strings will entertain. After lunch, the 2006 officers and members of the Board of Directors will be installed.

Santa also will make an appearance to hand out gift bags to all the good business members, a news release stated.

The cost for members is $13 with a donation of at least three canned goods or $15 without the canned goods. The cost for non-members is $15 with canned goods and $17 without canned goods.

The deadline for luncheon reservations is Friday, Dec. 2.
