Abortion: ‘Rumblings of the coming judgment can already be heard’

Letter to the Editor

To the editor:

New York is the state where 25 to 27 percent of pregnancies end in abortion.

Recently I heard that New York is now in the process of expanding the limits for abortion.

The members of the New York General Assembly cheered when the current bill passed.

There are federal laws protecting eagle’s eggs from the moment they are laid to the day they are hatched, and then, there are more laws protecting eagles and even their feathers. Doesn’t it seem strange to you that our government protects bird eggs, but not human babies?

Don’t our leaders know that at six weeks in the womb, the baby has little fingers and toes? Why won’t they protect our babies?

Why isn’t adoption promoted? What country kills its own citizens? Barbarians.

This is just another case of puny man in his “wisdom,” shaking his fist in the face of God, defying the basic command of our creator: Life is precious.

“The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers…” 2nd Corinthians 4:4.

“Do not be deceived: God is not mocked. A man reaps what he sows. If he sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature he will reap destruction.” Galatians 6:7-8.

So our country shouldn’t complain about the disasters that rock our headlines. The rumblings of the coming judgment can already be heard.

Jonah is at our gates.
