2021 Home for the Holidays Contest Hors d’Oeuvres: Gringo Meatballs


Gringo Meatballs

1 jar medium salsa (any brand)

½ cup of honey

1 teaspoon ginger

3 tablespoon soy sause

3 pounds meatballs

Heat honey in microwave for half a minute, add ginger, soy sauce and whisk together. Pour mixture into a large mixing bowl, add salsa and mix again.

Add meatballs to the mixture and coat and bake in the microwave until heated through or, in a deep baking pan, cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

This sauce is also good over wings, chicken or pork.
